Your contribution is helping to support one entire family and one member of the Peer Performance Company.  Each year VIDYA EDUCATION & CHARITABLE TRUST continues to advance in its aim of improving the lives of people living in the slum communities across Ahmedabad.   Through this latest program, we have seen the lives of two individuals and their families improve for the better.

 

In particular, Pravin who is newly married is able to provide a steady income for his wife and his parents. Providing a person with the skills and resources to support himself is the best way to improve society. 

 

VIDYA is committed to changing minds and behavioural patterns that impede the development of communities by using theatre as a vehicle and peer-group role models as navigators of transformation in the difficult but essential journey towards progressive thinking and living.  Your donation is helping us to support one member of our peer-group who is using theatre to create a change in mindsets and behaviours for the better.  In addition, your money is helping us reach a community member progress towards that journey.
